Starting from an authentic Verdejo vineyard in the town of La Seca (Valladolid), almost 30 years old and with gravelly soil, a very careful handmade elaboration is done, to obtain a high quality wine, with full respect to the typicality of the Genuine Verdejo variety. That is, with the sensory characteristics that have made it such an appreciated grape. The vineyard is harvested by hand in small boxes; the clusters are selected in the cellar and the movements of the wine are made by gravity, thus avoiding oxidative processes. The control of the temperatures applied throughout the winemaking contributes to the maximum preservation of the organoleptic characteristics of the Verdejo variety. Finally, with aging on lees, a greater roundness and smoothness in the mouth is achieved.

Tasting Notes:

Bright yellow greenish color. Tipical aromas of verdejo wines: green apples, white flowers and Hey nuances. Rich and fresh at the same time. Good balance and acidity. Serious and with the tipicity that can only be found in traditional verdejos.

About Our Label:

The label is the work of the young painter from Malaga JULIA DIAZDEL. The work of this painter reveals an extraordinary sensitivity, with a strong style that identifies very well the authenticity and personality of LA PASAJERA. The label follows a line similar to LA OLA DEL MELILLERO and evokes on this occasion a story that happened in the Port of Malaga during World War II, which was echoed in the Malaga press of the time: that of a mysterious passenger from El The Empress of Japan ship that made a stop in Malaga in the direction of Marseille.
